Just wondering how Redfin managed to get a commercial that long aired on 60 minutes? I guess the facts aren’t as interesting, like how the commission gets split so many ways, and how many hours and miles are put into the non buyers for the one buyer that the agent felt so “guilty” about taking the commision on. I wonder if she gave the money back? And if everyone goes with the Redfin model, where will they get the 2/3 of the selling side that they rebate? A business model that falls apart if there is not a full service agency to prey on? What are they thinking? Real estate is so very competitive anyway, and it is definitely changing, but not to that model.
