Even though the ban on open burning has been lifted, there are still restrictions on burning that most don’t realize. It has been prohibited to burn trash and other man made materials, and still is. Open burning is for the burning of branches and other natural vegetation from land clearing or yard waste. The baned items include trash, paper, plastics, lumber, tires, chemicals and other man-made products.
